Content: The Cabinet: 1.1. Reviewed the report and issues raised within and note that Leadership Team with Cabinet Members will continue to closely monitor and manage the Medium Term Financial Strategy. 1.2. Recommended to Council the 2026/27 Extended Producer Responsibility Revenue Grant of (£1,638,709) is added to the MTFS and is used to fund the Council’s share of the cost of the Joint Waste Service. 1.3. Recommend to Council that a new project is added to the Capital Programme for the St. John’s community facility of £800,000 funded from Section 106. 1.4. Approved the establishment of a Social Value Fund for low-value or short-term contracts where there may not be scope to deliver commitments aligned directly to the Social Value Strategy. 1.5. Delegated to the Cabinet Member for Finance and Commissioning in consultation with the Procurement and Commissioning Manager, the ability to approve awards from the Social Value Fund. 1.6. Noted the decision of the Cabinet Member for Finance and Commissioning to not be part of a business rates pool for 2026/27 due to the Business Rates reset and changes to the levy regime.
