Purpose: To note the General Fund Monitoring 2025/26 Budget forecast Q2 report  

Content: It was RESOLVED: -   1.1         That Cabinet noted the General fund 2025/26 Q2 revenue actuals of £1.2m   1.2         That Cabinet noted the General Fund 2025/26 forecast surplus of £4.4m against a budget surplus of £2.4m.   1.3         That Cabinet noted the capital programme and capital financing spend to date (£7.7m) and forecast (£32.4m) for the financial year.   REASON FOR DECISION To ensure that Members were kept informed of the financial position for both General Fund Revenue and Capital and to approve earmarked reserve transfers.   Alternative Options Considered and Rejected: The recommended option was set out in the Recommendations.
