Purpose: The Cabinet will be asked to recommend to Council the basis of the formal calculation for the Council Tax Base for West Suffolk Council for the financial year 2026 to 2027.  

Content: Recommended to Council: (16 December 2025)   That: 1.           The tax base for 2026 to 2027, for the whole of West Suffolk be 60,791.93 equivalent band D dwellings, as detailed in paragraph 2.3 of Report number CAB/WS/25/060.   2.       The tax base for 2026 to 2027 for the different parts of its area, as defined by parish or special expense area boundaries, be as shown in Appendix 3 of Report number CAB/WS/25/060.
