Purpose: To approve an updated Noise Management Policy Added 04 December 2025

Content: Cabinet:   1)    APPROVED the ‘Noise Policy’ as the Council’s operational framework for noise control. 2)    NOTED the supporting guidance, procedures and statutory requirements referenced within the policy. 3)    DELEGATED AUTHORITY to the Director of Place and Prosperity, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Corporate Governance, Environment and Regulatory Services, to implement the Policy and routinely update as necessary, and oversee compliance across all Council functions covered by the Policy. 4)    APPROVED that page numbers are added to the strategy document as per the contents page to allow for easier reference.
