Purpose: The report informs the Committee of the decision to replace the Liverpool City Region flexible purchase system with a new Wirral-specific framework for the procurement of statutory services. This is a key decision due to cost of the contracts within the proposed framework. (£180.2 Million)

Content: Resolved - That 1. The principle of the Council establishing, developing and implementing one or more Wirral Borough Council framework agreements to support the delivery of the statutory functions under the Care Act 2014 be agreed. 2. Authority be delegated to the Director of Adults, Health and Strategic Commissioning to appoint providers on one or more framework agreements following a procurement process conducted in accordance with the Council’s contract procedure rules.
