Purpose: To provide an update on the progress of the corporate parenting strategy from March 2025 before a full annual report is shared at Full Council in July 2026 and to highlight two pieces of work that need councillor endorsement: the Immigration Support Pledge and the Care Leaver Covenant. 

Content: At the conclusion of the discussion, the Chair moved the report recommendations.   This was seconded by Cllr Katja Hornchen   The Committee RESOLVED: UNANIMOUSLY   To approve the report and note the progress of the strategy To formally commit to signing the Immigration Support Pledge To reaffirm Bristol’s membership and commitment of the Care Leaver Covenant
