Purpose: Greater Gwent (Torfaen) Pension Fund / Wales Pension Partnership arrangements

Content: Council unanimously agreed to:   i.              Approve the revisions made to Inter-Authority Agreement (IAA) within appendix 1, as summarised within section 4 of this report; ii.             Give authority to the Head of Legal Services to seal the revised IAA ensuring that approvals sought under 8.1(i) can be legally implemented; iii.            Provide delegated authority to the Monitoring Officer, in consultation with the Members Constitution Working Party to amend the Constitution to reflect any changes needed as a result of this report; and iv.           Delegate the oversight of implementing these changes to the Strategic Director of Resources and Head of Pensions, with progress updates to be brought back to Pensions Committee in their role of discharging the duties of the Council, as Administering Authority of the Fund.
