Content: *RESOLVED –   That authority be delegated to the Chief Executive in consultation with the Leader and Deputy Leader of the Council to finalise and submit Chesterfield Borough Council’s response to the statutory consultation prior to the 26 March 2026 consultation deadline.   REASON FOR DECISION   Local government reorganisation is the biggest change to local government in over 50 years. Responding to the consultation on all five proposals for Derby and Derbyshire ensures that the views of Chesterfield Borough Council are considered by Government as part of their decision-making process.
