Open Council Network is an independent organisation. We report on Sutton and are not the council. About us
The Carshalton and Clockhouse Local Committee is scheduled to meet on 23 June 2026. The meeting agenda includes a community showcase featuring the Carshalton Fruit Pickers, discussions on local funding priorities, and an opportunity for public questions.
Community Showcase: Carshalton Fruit Pickers
The committee is scheduled to hear from the Carshalton Fruit Pickers about their community project and how residents can get involved.
Neighbourhood Fund: Setting Local Priorities
A key item on the agenda is an overview of the Neighbourhood Fund. This will cover what the fund can be used for and the timescales for submitting applications. The Neighbourhood Fund is a council initiative designed to support local projects and community groups within specific areas.
Wider Funding Opportunities
The committee will also consider wider funding opportunities that may be available to support local initiatives and projects within the Carshalton and Clockhouse area.
Public Questions
A dedicated session is scheduled for public questions, providing an opportunity for residents to raise local issues. Questions must be submitted in advance via the council's website. Those submitting questions at least five working days before the meeting will receive a written response beforehand and will be able to ask one follow-up question during the meeting. Questions submitted later will receive a response after the meeting. All submitted questions, along with the names of those asking them, will be published.
