The Planning Committee of Bexley Council met on Thursday 27 June 2024 to consider several planning applications. The committee approved all four applications that were discussed.
Planning Applications Approved
The committee considered four planning applications for development. All were approved by the committee.
18 Albury Avenue, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA7 4SJ
The committee approved the erection of a single-storey rear extension, a single side porch, and the conversion of the roof space, including alterations to the roofline with dormer windows and rooflights. This application was approved by a vote of 9 to 0. Mr S Marriott spoke in objection to the application, and Mr V Shankar Khandelwal, the applicant, spoke in support.
20 Christchurch Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA15 7HQ
Permission was granted for the erection of a single-storey side extension, following the demolition of the existing garage. The application also included the formation of a vehicle access and alterations to the front boundary enclosure with walls, piers, and railings. This application was approved by a vote of 8 to 2. Mr J Beagley spoke in objection, and Mr V Katukuri, the applicant, spoke in support.
20 Sandhurst Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA15 7HL
The committee unanimously approved the erection of a single-storey rear and side extension, including alterations to the existing roof slope with dormer windows and rooflights. The original scheme was revised to omit side-facing ground floor windows in the rear extension to protect the privacy of neighbouring properties.
32 Northcote Road, Sidcup, Kent, DA14 6PW
This application for the erection of a single-storey rear extension, following the demolition of an existing conservatory, was unanimously approved. No objections were received for this application.
The meeting also noted the date of the next meeting as 1 August 2024.
