The Licensing Sub-Committee of Hillingdon Council met on Friday 19 January 2024 to consider a personal licence application. The meeting was held in private, and the decision made regarding the application is not publicly available.

Personal Licence Application

The committee considered an application for a personal licence. This type of licence is required by individuals who intend to sell or supply alcohol. The report detailing this application was declared exempt from publication. This was due to the disclosure of information relating to an individual, information that could reveal an individual's identity, and information concerning actions taken in the prevention, investigation, or prosecution of crime. The council determined that the public interest in withholding this information outweighed the public interest in disclosing it, in accordance with Section 100(A) and paragraphs 1, 2, and 7 of Part 1 of Schedule 12(A) to the Local Government Act 1972.

The meeting was attended by Councillor Roy Chamdal (Chair), Councillor Colleen Sullivan, and Councillor Kuldeep Lakhmana. Also present were Jhini Mukherjee, Licensing Officer; Chantelle McLeod, Legal Officer; Ryan Dell, Democratic Services Officer; and PC Penelope Brown, representing a Responsible Authority. The applicant was also present. The meeting commenced at 10:00 am and concluded at 12:30 pm.
