The Standards Panel of Staffordshire Council met on Tuesday 19 May 2026. The meeting was scheduled to include the appointment of a chairperson and vice-chairperson, followed by the exclusion of the public to discuss external investigation reports.
External Investigation Reports
The panel was scheduled to consider external investigation reports, as detailed in the public reports pack. These reports were subject to exemption under paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, meaning they were not to be published. The reports covered pages 3 to 112 of the pack. The County Solicitor and Monitoring Officer, Kate Loader, prepared the report of the Monitoring Officer.
The members of the Standards Panel who were scheduled to attend were Thomas Baker, Andrew Clissett, Alex Farrell, Craig Humphreyson, and Jon Pendleton. Liam Archer and Simon Humble were also listed as attendees.
