Simon Boote, Programme Director for the Children and Young People's Alliance, was scheduled to present a proposal for changes to the CYP Alliance governance. The Board was to be asked to ratify decisions made at the CYP Alliance Board meeting on 21 May 2026. These proposed changes aimed to position the CYP Alliance Board as the central strategic forum for children and young people's place-based delivery, extending its oversight to include the Families First Partnership programme, SEND reform, and Integrated Neighbourhood Teams (INTs). The proposal also included a review and strengthening of the Board's membership to ensure broader representation.
