The Appeals Sub-Committee (School Transport) of Wiltshire Council met on Friday 14 August 2026. The primary item on the agenda was to consider and determine a school transport appeal. Procedural Matters

Before addressing the school transport appeal, the committee was scheduled to deal with several procedural matters. This included the election of a chairman for the meeting. Following this, any declarations of interest from members were to be received. The minutes from the previous meeting held on 13 May 2026 were presented for approval as a correct record. The committee was also set to note the meeting procedure. Finally, a decision was to be made on whether to exclude the press and public from the remainder of the meeting, in accordance with section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, due to the anticipated disclosure of exempt information.
