Open Council Network is an independent organisation. We report on Cheltenham and are not the council. About us
The Cheltenham Borough Council Licensing Sub-Committee - Miscellaneous is scheduled to consider applications relating to street trading and Hackney Carriage driver's licences. The meeting will also address the renewal and review of Hackney Carriage Driver's Licences.
Application for a Street Trading Consent
The committee is scheduled to consider an application for a street trading consent. The report pack indicates that this item will involve the review of documentation from pages 5 to 44.
Renewal of a Hackney Carriage Driver's Licence
A renewal application for a Hackney Carriage Driver's Licence is scheduled for consideration. The relevant documentation for this item is contained within pages 45 to 54 of the report pack.
Review of a Hackney Carriage Driver's Licence
The committee is scheduled to undertake reviews of Hackney Carriage Driver's Licences. Two separate reviews are listed, with documentation for the first review found on pages 55 to 94, and for the second review on pages 95 to 112. It is noted that Appendix 5 for the second review is a video that will be shown during the meeting.
Local Government Act 1972
The committee is scheduled to consider excluding the public from the meeting for subsequent agenda items. This is proposed in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, as it is anticipated that exempt information, relating to individuals, may be disclosed. This would likely reveal the identity of individuals, as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part (1) of Schedule (12A) of the Act.
