The Caerphilly Standing Advisory Council on Religion Values and Education (SACRE) met to discuss a range of issues relating to religious education in Caerphilly.
The meeting included the approval the draft SACRE/SAC on RVE Annual Report 2023/2024 which
will then be translated and sent to Welsh Government by the end of December 2024.

The meeting also received an update on preparations for Holocaust Memorial Day 2025.
Updates were received on the following topics:
- A verbal update from the RVE Advisor
- A verbal update about the membership of the Caerphilly SAC on RVE
- A presentation about annual member training for the Caerphilly SAC on RVE
- A verbal update about the Youth SACRE
- A verbal update on correspondence
- Feedback from the virtual WASACRE Autumn Term Meeting held on 14 November 2024
The meeting also noted the schedule of meetings for 2024/25.

SACREs were set up to advise councils on religious education in their area. They provide reports on this topic to the Welsh Government each year. ↩
