The Overview and Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to receive an update on the council's proposed budget for 2025-26.
The committee had previously received a report on 8 January 2025 on the proposed budget. This report - Policy and Resources Budget Setting Update 2025-26 - set out the council's proposed Policy and Resources Strategy for 2025-26, which would set the budget1. A timetable for the meeting shows that the committee was scheduled to hear from Councillor Cleo Soanes, the Cabinet Member for Finance and Corporate Services, and other officers, about the updated budget proposals2.
