Provisional TPO/07/2024 - 25 High Street, Hauxton
The Tree Officer presented the report on the provisional Tree Protection Order (TPO) for 25 High Street, Hauxton. The Committee confirmed the TPO, protecting the ash trees on site, while noting that the trees labelled G7 were not recommended for protection due to their proximity to a neighbouring property and potential impact on it.
Compliance Report
The Principal Planning Compliance Manager presented the compliance report. Members expressed their gratitude for the work on assigning priorities to historical cases and requested a Member workshop on compliance. The Committee noted the report.
Appeals against Planning Decisions and Enforcement Action
The Delivery Manager introduced the report on appeals against planning decisions and enforcement actions. A question was raised regarding the appeal at Cambridge North, specifically case APP/W0530/W/23/3315611. Officers advised that the Local Planning Authority had received some counsel and was awaiting further advice on several matters, including the impact on water supply in the region. The Committee noted the report.
