The Standards and General Purposes Committee met on Wednesday 21 May 2025 and elected a new chairman. Councillor Jackson Ng was elected as Chairman of the Standards and General Purposes Committee for the year.
Election of Chairman
Councillor John Chilver, Vice-Chairman, proposed Councillor Jackson Ng for the role of Chairman. This proposal was seconded by Councillor David Carroll. The committee then voted to elect Councillor Ng as Chairman of the Standards and General Purposes Committee.
