The Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee met to interview candidates for two Director of Finance positions. Annette Trigg was appointed as Director of Finance – Corporate, and Sol Otchere was appointed as Director of Finance – Capital & Commercial.
Exclusion of Press and Public
The committee resolved to exclude the press and public from the meeting during the interviews, citing Section 100(A) of the Local Government Act 19721. This was to prevent the disclosure of exempt information, as defined in Paragraph 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act, relating to individuals. The relevant legislation was amended by the Local Government (Access to Information)(Variation) Order 2006.
Director of Finance Appointments
The committee interviewed two candidates for each of the following positions: Director of Finance - Corporate and Director of Finance - Capital & Commercial. Following the interviews, Annette Trigg was appointed as Director of Finance – Corporate, and Sol Otchere was appointed as Director of Finance – Capital & Commercial.
