The Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee convened to conduct final stage interviews for two key positions within Enfield Council: Executive Director of Environment & Communities and Director of Property Services. The Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee convened to conduct final stage interviews for the roles of Executive Director of Environment & Communities and Director of Property Services. The agenda and reports pack for the meeting indicated that the committee would be interviewing candidates and using provided documents to score and record notes on each candidate.
Following the interviews, the committee moved to exclude the press and public, as allowed under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 19721, to discuss the candidates in private. This exclusion was justified under paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act, which pertains to information relating to individuals.
