The minutes record that the decision was made:
Having regard to the Officer's report and all the representations made, and for the reasons disclosed at the meeting, the Sub Committee unanimously RESOLVED that the Application for a grant of a Hackney Carriage/ Private Hire vehicle Driver licence be REFUSED.
The applicant was informed of their right to appeal the decision at the local Magistrates Court within 21 days of receiving the decision notice.
This item was partially exempt from disclosure to the public, as it contained information relating to a particular individual, according to paragraph 12 of the Local Government Act 19721. A [Public Interest Test][Public Interest Test] was undertaken to determine whether the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information. The Director of Legal, Democratic Services and Monitoring Officer concluded that it did, as the report contained sensitive personal information about the applicant.
