The Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to elect a chair and vice-chair, approve the minutes from their previous meeting, and address questions from the public. Councillor Roger Tarrant was elected as Chairman of the Budget Development Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and Councillor James Ball was elected as Vice-Chairman.

Election of Chairman and Vice-Chairman

Councillor Rowland O'Connor nominated Councillor Roger Tarrant for Chairman, and Councillor Peter Channon seconded the motion, which was approved. Councillor Julian German nominated Councillor James Ball for Vice-Chairman, and Councillor Connor Donnithorne seconded the motion, which was approved.

Approval of Minutes

The minutes from the previous meeting held on 22 January 2025 were approved. Councillor Rory Gow moved to approve the minutes, and Councillor Nicky Chopak seconded the motion, which was approved.
