The Community Wealth Building Strategy was presented to the Board for discussion. Community wealth building is an approach to local economic development that aims to ensure that wealth generated in a local area benefits local people and businesses1.
The Board agreed to continue to develop the Community Wealth Building Strategy. Councillor David Thomas, Leader of Torbay Council, requested that the strategy include specific, measurable targets.
