The Licensing and Environmental Health Committee of Uttlesford Council convened a meeting on Thursday, 18 September 2025, to address licensing matters. The agenda included reviews of a Private Hire Driver Licence and a Home to School Driver Licence. Both of these reviews were scheduled to take place with the public and press excluded.
Exclusion of Public and Press
The committee was scheduled to consider excluding the public and press from the meeting during discussions of the two licensing reviews. This was to be done because the reports contained exempt information under section 100I and paragraph 1 part 1 Schedule 12A Local Government Act 19721.
Review of Licences
The committee was scheduled to review two licenses:
- A Private Hire Driver Licence
- A Home to School Driver Licence
The stated purpose of these reviews was to make a determination on each licence.
