The Lower Central Gardens Trust Board is scheduled to meet on Monday 22 September 2025. The board is expected to receive updates on bicycle signage and lighting, and the Art and Makers Market, and to discuss a request for a multi-agency safety review. They will also be considering items of business for future meetings.
Request for a multi-agency safety review
The board is scheduled to consider a request for a multi-agency safety review (or SARA) raised by Councillor Sara Armstrong. The purpose of a SARA is to bring together different agencies, such as the police, local authority, and housing providers, to address complex issues like anti-social behaviour or domestic abuse.
Updates on Bicycle Signage, Lighting and the Art and Makers Market
The board is scheduled to receive verbal updates on bicycle signage and lighting in the Lower Central Gardens, as well as the Art and Makers Market. The minutes of the previous meeting on 12 May 2025, included in the Public reports pack, note that feedback had been received regarding bicycle signage, and that a review of the signage would be undertaken subject to the available budget. The board was also informed that the Art & Makers Market would take place once a month on a Saturday.
Future Meeting Dates and Work
The board is scheduled to discuss and agree on items of business for consideration at future meetings, and to confirm the dates of those meetings.
