The Erewash Council Executive is scheduled to meet on Tuesday 23 September 2025, to discuss the Food Health and Safety Service Plan, the budget monitoring report, and the council's performance. They will also be advised of changes to the Derby and Derbyshire Strategic Leadership Board.
Budget Monitoring
The Council Executive is scheduled to receive a report on the council's budget monitoring for the first quarter of 2025/26. The report is expected to provide details on:
- The financial position of the 2025/26 General Fund Budget as of 31 May 2025.
- The financial position of the Capital Programme as of 30 June 2025.
- Treasury management activities and prudential indicators as of 30 June 2025, in accordance with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance (CIPFA) Code of Practice for Treasury Management1.
The agenda notes that this report is not open to call-in, as it is being considered by Scrutiny on 24 September.
Food Health and Safety Service Plan
The Council Executive is scheduled to consider the Food Health and Safety Service Plan 2025-26. The purpose of the plan is to outline how the council will ensure food safety and protect public health.
Performance Report
The Council Executive is scheduled to receive the Performance Report for the first quarter of 2025/26. This report is expected to provide an overview of performance against the Corporate Strategy Delivery Plan actions and key performance indicators. It will also include information on customer feedback (CCCs), Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) requests, and the council's current strategic risks.
Derby and Derbyshire Strategic Leadership Board
The Council Executive is scheduled to be advised of changes to the Derby and Derbyshire Strategic Leadership Board (D2SLB) Terms of Reference.
