The committee will be considering several planning applications at locations across the Staffordshire Moorlands. These applications are:

- Side Farm, Cotton Bank, Cotton, ST10 3DU (reference SMD/2025/0237)
- Ladygreen Farm, Huntley Road, Denford near Leek (reference SMD/2025/0177)
- The Old Post Office, 1 Brookfields Road, Ipstones (reference SMD/2025/0180)
Planning Appeals
The Planning Applications Committee is scheduled to discuss a report on the performance of planning appeals. According to the agenda, this discussion may be held in private because it relates to Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)

Exclusion of Press and Public
The agenda indicates that the Chair, Councillor Adam Parkes, Chairman of the Council, is expected to propose that the press and public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the exempt minutes of the last meeting and the report on planning appeals.
The reason cited is that these items may contain exempt information as defined in Section 100A (3) and Section 100I (1) of the Local Government Act 1972. This includes information that is likely to reveal the identity of an individual or information in respect of which a claim to legal professional privilege could be maintained in legal proceedings.
