Here is a summary of the scheduled briefing meeting for the Lead Member for Children's and Young People's Services at Salford Council. The meeting will cover the appointment and reappointment of LA Governors at several local schools, as well as a discussion of current vacancies. LA Governor Appointments and Re-Appointments
The Lead Member for Children's and Young People's Services will be asked to consider nominations for the (re-)appointment of LA1 Governors to the governing boards of several schools in Salford.
The following individuals are scheduled to be nominated for re-appointment:
- Councillor J King, St. Thomas of Canterbury RC Primary School.
- Mr S Taromsari, St. Paul's CE Primary School (Crompton Street).
- Mr R McMillan, Clifton Primary School.
- Mr N Reynolds, St. Lukes RC Primary School.
- Michelle Smith, St. Paul's Peel CE Primary School.
The report pack notes that there are currently LA governor vacancies on the governing boards of the following schools:
- St. Mary's RC, Swinton Primary School.
- Holy Cross and All Saints RC Primary School.
- St. Mary's CE Primary School (Cadishead).
- North Walkden Primary School.
