The Senior Officers Committee of Huntingdonshire District Council is scheduled to meet on 14 October 2025 to elect a chair and vice-chair, and to appoint an interim Section 151 Officer¹. The meeting will also cover the minutes from a previous meeting. Due to the confidential nature of some of the topics, the press and public may be excluded from parts of the meeting.

Appointment of Interim Section 151 Officer

The committee is scheduled to consider applications and interview candidates for the position of Interim Section 151 Officer. Candidates will make a presentation to the committee and respond to questions from members. Following the interviews, the committee is expected to formulate a notification to the Cabinet and a recommendation to the Council regarding the appointment. Details of the candidates and further information relating to the post have been circulated separately to committee members.

Exclusion of Press and Public

The committee is scheduled to consider a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting. This is because the business to be transacted contains exempt information relating to individuals and is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.

Election of Chair and Vice-Chair

The committee is scheduled to elect a Chair and appoint a Vice-Chair for the ensuing Municipal Year.

Approval of Minutes

The committee is scheduled to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 17 March 2025 as a correct record. At that meeting, with Councillor Sarah Joanne Conboy in the chair, the committee recommended that the Council appoint Anita O'Malley to the post of Head of Democratic Services and Monitoring Officer.
