The Homelessness & Housing Delivery Task Group of King's Lynn and West Norfolk Council is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 21st October 2025. The agenda includes discussions on current trends in the Housing Needs Service, progress on the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy, and priorities for the next six months.
Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy
The Task Group is scheduled to discuss the progress of the council's Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy. The council has previously launched the strategy, and a video recording of the launch is available on YouTube.
Housing Needs Service
The Task Group is scheduled to receive a summary of current trends in the Housing Needs Service. This may include a discussion of data related to homelessness applications and their outcomes. At a previous meeting on 5th February 2025, Councillor Bubb sought clarification on the number of homeless applications that had been removed from the list because housing was found. At that meeting, the Senior Housing Manager explained that approximately 20% of applications are withdrawn because homelessness may have been resolved independently.
Priorities for the Next Six Months
The Task Group is scheduled to discuss its priorities for the next six months.
