The Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met to consider applications for new private hire driver licences. Councillor Adrian Cartwright, Councillor Rosie Humphreys, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group, and Councillor Debra King were scheduled to be in attendance.
Private Hire Driver Licences
The sub-committee was scheduled to consider three applications for new private hire driver licences.
The agenda for the meeting noted that the reports relating to these applications contained exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, which relates to information about individuals. It was recommended that the press and public be excluded from the meeting while these items were discussed, because if they were present, it would be likely that exempt information would be disclosed.
