The Hackney Council Licensing Sub Committee D is scheduled to meet on Tuesday, 9 December 2025 to discuss licensing applications for two premises, as well as temporary event notices. The committee will also review standard procedures and elect a chair. All Licensing Sub-Committee Hearings will be held remotely and live-streamed.

The sub-committee is scheduled to discuss a premises licence application for Projectx44, 44 Rivington Street, London, EC2A 3QP.
Temporary Event Notices
The sub-committee is scheduled to discuss temporary event notices, as a standing item. According to the agenda, when considering an objection to a TEN1 the council will:
- Expect that any existing conditions will be maintained (where relevant) in circumstances where an event is to take place at a premises that has an existing authorisation.
- Assess any history of complaints as a result of licensable activity that may or may not have been authorised by a TEN.
- Consider the track record of the premises user
- Consider any other control measures proposed to mitigate the objection
Licensing Sub-Committee Hearing Procedure
The sub-committee is scheduled to review the Licensing Sub-Committee Hearing Procedure. The procedure outlines the process for licensing sub-committee hearings under the Licensing Act 2003. It notes that hearings are normally held in public unless the sub-committee believes it not to be in the public interest to do so.
The procedure also states that only those responsible authorities2 and other persons who have made a relevant representation in writing at the consultation stage can register to speak at a subsequent hearing.
