Summary
The Lewisham Council Pension Board is scheduled to meet on 9 December 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including a general update on pension fund activities, a review of the pension fund's risk register, and an investment monitoring report. The board will also consider updates on the pooling of Lewisham Pension funds and the Pension Regulator’s General Code of Practice. Some of the meeting may be held in private due to the discussion of exempt information.
General Update
The Pension Board is scheduled to receive a general update on various aspects of the Lewisham Pension Fund. According to the agenda, the update will include a review of the Pension Fund Annual Report 2024-25.

Investment Monitoring Report
The Pension Board is scheduled to discuss the Investment Monitoring Report for Q2 June 2025.
LGPS Reform and Pooling Update
The Pension Board is scheduled to receive an update on the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) reform and the pooling of Lewisham Pension funds.
The report pack for the previous meeting in September 2025 noted that:
Officers and Members of the Pensions Investment Committee (PIC) had been working with LCIV to prepare for the pooling of Lewisham Pension funds by 31 March 2026. For funds not yet pooled with LCIV, existing fund managers would remain in place, but LCIV will assume management control through a new Investment Management Agreement (IMA).
It was also noted that Greenwich Pension Fund was leading the IMA due diligence process for all London authorities.
Rolling Action Log
The Pension Board is scheduled to receive an update on the rolling action log. At the previous meeting, the Treasury and Investment Manager, Chris Flower, provided updates on the following actions:
- Data Improvement Plan
- General Code of Practice
- LGPS Reform and Pooling
- Review a formal training plan for 2025/6
- Update Corporate Risk Register
- Review the score of AG11
