January 13, 2026 View on council websiteSummary
The Local Planning Committee is scheduled to consider three planning applications at its meeting on Tuesday 13 January 2026. The committee will review proposals for a commercial unit amalgamation, and two separate applications for the conversion of family homes into Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs).
304-308 Creek Road, Deptford, London, SE10 9SW - Ref: 25/1518/F
The committee is scheduled to consider a resubmission for full planning permission at 304-308 Creek Road, Deptford, London, SE10 9SW. The proposal involves the amalgamation of two existing ground-floor commercial units into a single unit, intended for Use Class E(a) commercial use. This application was previously deferred by the committee in December 2025 to allow for further consideration of delivery and servicing arrangements and to conduct a site visit. Revised drawings and a Delivery and Servicing Management Plan have been submitted, which seek to retain the use of the existing loading bay at the rear for servicing the amalgamated commercial unit. The plans indicate that delivery cages would be brought to the existing rear entry doors of the units. The report notes that the current servicing arrangements are not subject to planning control, and this application presents an opportunity to bring them under such control.
17 Oakmere Road, Abbey Wood, London, SE2 0XX - Ref: 25/1069/F
Full planning permission is being sought for the property at 17 Oakmere Road, Abbey Wood, London, SE2 0XX. The proposal includes the construction of a single-storey rear extension and a change of use from a single-family dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to a six-bedroom small HMO (Use Class C4) for a maximum of six persons. The application also includes plans for refuse and cycle storage. This item was deferred in October 2025 to allow for a new car parking survey to be conducted outside of school holidays and for a site visit. An addendum report details revisions to the cycle parking and refuse storage, and assesses the new car parking survey, which indicates sufficient parking capacity in the surrounding area. A HMO Management Plan has also been submitted.
56 Camdale Road, Plumstead, London, SE18 2DS - Ref: 25/1743/F
The committee is scheduled to consider a full planning application for 56 Camdale Road, Plumstead, London, SE18 2DS. The proposal involves the construction of a single-storey side and rear extension, a hip-to-gable loft conversion, and a rear dormer extension with front rooflights. These works are intended to facilitate the change of use of the single-family dwellinghouse (Use Class C3) to a six-bedroom small HMO (Use Class C4) for a maximum of six persons. It is noted that a Certificate of Lawfulness for the physical building works was previously granted, and the current application seeks permission for the change of use and the associated extensions and loft conversion. The report details the design of the extensions and loft conversion, the quality of living environment for future residents, and the impact on neighbouring amenity. Cycle parking is proposed in the rear garden, and refuse bins in the front garden.
