The Chief Officer Performance Review Panel was scheduled to meet on Wednesday 4 March 2026 to discuss declarations of interest and to review the performance of the Chief Officer. The meeting was also scheduled to confirm the minutes of a previous meeting.
Declarations of Interest
The panel was scheduled to consider a report detailing the offices held by Assembly Members, which are to be noted as disclosable pecuniary interests. The report also outlined the process for members to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests in specific agenda items, and any other relevant interests, including gifts and hospitality received. The panel was recommended to note these declarations and any necessary actions taken by members. The report also provided advice from the GLA's Monitoring Officer regarding the implications of these interests, referencing the GLA's Code of Conduct and the Localism Act 2011. It was noted that failure to comply with these requirements could constitute a criminal offence.
Minutes of Previous Meeting
The panel was scheduled to consider the minutes from the Chief Officer Review Panel meeting held on 30 September 2025. The recommendation was to confirm these minutes to be signed by the Chair as a correct record.
Performance Review - Chief Officer
A significant portion of the meeting was allocated for the performance review of the Chief Officer. The agenda indicated that the press and public would be excluded from this item due to the likely disclosure of exempt information relating to an individual. The report pack suggests that the panel would discuss the Chief Officer's performance.
Any Other Business
