The Hillingdon Planning Committee met on Wednesday 11 March 2026 to discuss several planning applications. The meeting was scheduled to cover applications for extensions and amendments to existing properties, as well as outline planning permissions for significant new residential developments.
Applications with a Petition
4 Napier Close, West Drayton
The committee was scheduled to consider an application for the erection of a single-storey wrap-around extension to the side and rear of the property at 4 Napier Close, West Drayton, along with amendments to its fenestrations. Applications without a Petition
Land at HPH2, HPH5, and Multistorey Car Park, Hyde Park Hayes
An outline planning permission was scheduled for discussion concerning the demolition of existing buildings (above basement level) and the phased delivery of residential development (Class C3) on land at HPH2, HPH5, and the Multistorey Car Park at Hyde Park Hayes. Land at Avondale Drive, Wood End
The committee was set to consider an application submitted under Section 73 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to vary several conditions of a previous planning permission (ref. 76551/APP/2021/4502). The variations sought related to approved plans, development scope, housing mix, phasing, residential density, building height, landscaping, parking allocation, and wind effects assessment. The proposed changes aimed to increase the number of homes, remove the existing parking court, increase the podium size, revise the height strategy, remove vehicle access, and increase separation distances to create a new public square. Land at Austin Road, Hayes Town
A Section 73 application was scheduled for discussion concerning variations to conditions of a previous planning permission (ref. 76550/APP/2023/2931). The application sought to vary conditions related to approved plans, land uses, housing mix, phasing, residential density, building heights, landscaping, parking allocation, and wind effects assessment. The proposed variations included an increase in the number of homes, joining blocks in phases 2 and 3, a reduction in parking to create green spaces, amendments to the scale of the street, and the relocation of a community facility. The report pack indicated a recommendation for approval, subject to a Section 106 legal agreement and conditions.
The meeting also included standard agenda items such as apologies for absence, declarations of interest, and the receipt of minutes from the previous meeting. It was confirmed that all items of business would be considered in public.
