Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way Sub-Committee - Monday, 3rd November, 2025 1.00 pm

The Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way Sub-Committee met to review and comment on a proposed revision to the Definitive Map Modification Order (DMMO) Prioritisation Policy. The aim of the revision is to create a clearer, more consistent, and objective process for handling the substantial backlog of applications to modify the definitive map[^1] by prioritising cases with the greatest potential public benefit and those that would reduce property blight. After discussion, the sub-committee resolved to note their comments on the proposed revisions, which will be taken forward to the Highways and Transport Scrutiny Committee and then to the Executive Councillor for a final decision.

Growth Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 28th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Growth Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire County Council met on 28 October 2025 to discuss economic development and skills initiatives. The agenda included updates on the Economic Infrastructure Lettings Strategy, the Inward Investment Strategy, Skills Bootcamps, and the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub, as well as a review of the committee's work programme. The Planning and Regulation Committee convened to discuss various traffic regulation orders and two significant planning applications. Councillors approved a local impact report and formally objected to the Beacon Fen Energy Park development, while also deferring a decision on a quarry application near Caistor.

Council - Friday, 12th September, 2025 10.30 am

Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.

Growth Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Growth Scrutiny Committee met to discuss procurement reforms, broadband progress, regional energy planning, and the Connect to Work programme. The committee endorsed reports on procurement, broadband and the Connect to Work programme, and provided feedback to officers. Members also discussed and approved the committee's work programme for the coming year.
