Alcohol & Gambling Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 23rd October 2025 10.00 am

The Alcohol & Gambling Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a new premises licence for Whitehills Post Office, and ultimately decided to defer making a decision for up to five working days. The application, made by Rajesh Khunti, seeks permission to sell alcohol from the premises between 6am and midnight, Monday to Sunday. The sub-committee heard arguments from Frank Fender, agent for Mr Khunti, and considered written objections from local residents.

Additional Meeting, Non-Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday 23rd October 2025 6.00 pm

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss two planning applications, ultimately approving the erection of five residential dwellings in Milton Malsor, and refusing an outline application for up to 100 new homes in Northampton. The committee heard objections from local residents and parish councils for both applications, and considered reports from planning officers.

Adult Social Care, Health and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 14th October 2025 6.00 pm

The Adult Social Care, Health and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to discuss the Community Safety Partnership Annual Report, and the draft Domestic Abuse Strategy at their meeting. They were also scheduled to be advised of the new prioritisation toolkit endorsed by the Overview and Scrutiny Triangulation Group, and to review their work programme for the 2025-26 municipal year.

Non-Strategic Planning Committee - Thursday 9th October 2025 6.00 pm

The Non-Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on 9 October 2025, and approved plans for a children's home and a commercial development, and agreed to submit a statement of case regarding an appeal against non-determination of an application. A decision on a fourth planning application was withdrawn from the agenda.

Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 2nd October 2025 10.00 am

The Taxi & General Licensing Sub-Committee of West Northamptonshire Council was scheduled to meet on 2 October 2025 to discuss a street trading consent application. The Sub-Committee was also expected to appoint a chair for the meeting and to note any declarations of interest from members.
