009217 Carers Support Service

Cabinet approval is sought to delegate the awarding of a contract to establish, coordinate and maintain a service (or services) for unpaid Carers in the City, to the Director of Adult Social Care and Prevention, following an open and competitive tender process. The Council is seeking to appoint a provider to deliver professional advice and support services from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2029.

Linked to our priority of an inclusive economy by ensuring value for money through the use of National NEPO frameworks, this report seeks permission to opt into the NEPO504 Election and Electoral Registration Print Framework until its expiry on 01/12/2033 (subject to extension). The Framework provides access to the supply of Election and Electoral Registration Printing Requirements.
