The Lancashire Combined County Authority met to approve the budget, discuss governance models, and review progress on key initiatives. County Councillor Stephen Atkinson was appointed as Chair, and Councillor Phil Riley was appointed as Vice Chair. The authority approved the amended 2025/26 revenue budget and capital programme, accepted the Growing Places Fund from Lancashire County Council, and agreed to develop a localised Get Britain Working plan.

The Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) met to discuss a Working Well update, the implications of devolution and the white paper, and an update from the Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB). The meeting was scheduled to include an overview of the requirements and timescales for the development of Get Lancashire & Cumbria Working plans and how governance would be established to facilitate integrated approaches to strategy development and programme implementation. The ICB update included an overview of the 2025/2026 Commissioning Intentions.

The Lancashire Combined County Authority met on 24 April 2025, and agreed to allocate transport grant funding to constituent councils, approved a strategic skills plan, accepted Rural Prosperity Funding, agreed to admission to the Lancashire Pension Fund, agreed to appoint independent chairs, and approved the appointment of external auditors.
