Connect to Work

Wiltshire Council Cabinet approved the acceptance of the Connect to Work Grant from the Department for Work and Pensions on 29/04/2026. The Cabinet approved a £2.2m grant award to The Shaw Trust Limited for specialist IPS provision and delegated subsequent specialist delivery approvals to directors in consultation with the Lead Member.

Fleet Route To Market

Wiltshire Council Cabinet approved the use of TPPL frameworks to procure 165 light goods and specialist vehicles between 2026 and 2030. The Cabinet also approved delegation of contract awards to the Director of Highways and Transport, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways, Streetscene and Flooding. The Cabinet approved the acceptance of £2.2m in grant funding from the Department for Work and Pensions for the Connect to Work programme. DFT Integrated Transport Fund and Bus Services Fund

Asset Transfer to Salisbury City Council

Wiltshire Council Cabinet approved the transfer of freehold interest in the Central Car Park Public Conveniences, Salisbury, to Salisbury City Council on 29 April 2026. The Director of Assets is authorised to dispose of the freehold interest if Salisbury City Council accepts it. This decision enables Salisbury City Council to directly deliver public convenience services to its residents.
