Planning Applications Committee - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Planning Applications Committee of Kensington and Chelsea Council met on 24 June 2025, to discuss a range of planning and advertisement applications. The committee approved most applications, but refused an application to build a mansard roof extension at Palace Place Mansions due to fire safety concerns and its impact on the conservation area, and another for retrospective permission for window and door replacements at 17 South End due to the impact on the conservation area.

Adult Social Care & Health Select Committee - Wednesday, 18th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Adult Social Care & Health Select Committee met to discuss dentistry and oral health, community pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical needs assessment (PNA). Councillors agreed to the scrutiny priorities for the municipal year, and to develop a detailed work programme. The committee noted that the 18 September meeting would need to be rescheduled to allow scrutiny of the Safeguarding Adults' Executive Board Annual Report.

Here is a summary of the upcoming Planning Applications Committee meeting. The committee, including Councillor Gerard Hargreaves, Chair of the Audit & Transparency Committee, Vice-Chair, Planning Committee & Planning Applications Committee, will be reviewing a number of planning applications, with a focus on preserving the character of the borough and ensuring good living conditions for residents. Several applications have received objections and will be discussed in detail.

Inner West London Mental Health Services Reconfiguration Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 22nd May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Inner West London Mental Health Services Reconfiguration Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the Integrated Care Board's (ICB) decision regarding changes to mental health service provision by Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The committee will be asked to consider and comment on the ICB's decision made on 8 April 2025. This meeting follows previous discussions and scrutiny of the proposals.
