...the Council approved its 2026/27 budget and Council Tax rate, which includes bringing forward the projected 2025/26 General Fund balance, approving directorate estimates, noting the budget's alignment with the Strategic Plan, approving proposed fees and charges, requiring the delivery of savings plans, noting the HRA budget, delegating authority for virements, approving the capital programme and the flexible use of capital receipts strategy, agreeing prudential indicators for capital expenditure and debt, noting the Council Tax base, calculating the Council Tax requirement, setting the Council Tax for each valuation band, noting the GLA precept, setting the combined Hackney/GLA Council Tax, confirming the Hackney element of the Band D Council Tax is not excessive, approving the Treasury Management Strategy and criteria for lending, and approving the Minimum Revenue Provision statement.
