Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 25th March, 2025 6.30 pm
The Royal Borough of Greenwich Local Planning Committee met to discuss planning applications for a house of multiple occupation (HMO) in Kidbrooke, another in Plumstead, and a retrospective application relating to a restaurant in Woolwich. Permission was granted for the Kidbrooke restaurant, with conditions, and for the Woolwich restaurant. A decision on the Plumstead HMO was deferred pending a site visit.

The Organisation and Communities Scrutiny Panel noted the Customer Services Performance, the Digital Strategy, the Electoral Services annual report 2024 and the Freedom of Information Monitoring Report.
Council Special Meeting - Wednesday, 26th February, 2025 7.00 pm
The meeting approved the Council's Statement of Accounts for 2023-24, its Treasury Management and Capital Strategy for 2025-26, the Housing Revenue Account medium-term financial strategy, budget and rent setting, and its Medium Term Financial Strategy and budget and council tax setting for 2025-26.
Local Planning Committee - Tuesday, 25th February, 2025 6.30 pm
The committee approved an application to convert a residential lobby into a cafe at 7 Warman Walk, Greenwich Millennium Village. The committee also refused an application for a change of use from a single dwelling house to a five-bedroom HMO at 61 Macoma Road, Plumstead, and deferred a decision on an application for a temporary change of use of a cafe to a marketing suite at 1 Oswald Gardens, Greenwich Millennium Village.

The Council agreed to reduce the maximum level of support available through the Local Council Tax Support Scheme 2025-26 from 100% to 80% and agreed to reduce the time before charging a Council Tax Premium to unfurnished and unoccupied properties from 2 years to 12 months. They also noted the appointment of Councillor Sandra Bauer as the new Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, and voted to adopt a motion on protecting leaseholders from the cost of fire safety remediation work.
