People Committee - Thursday, 4th December, 2025 7.00 pm

The People Committee of Sutton Council met to discuss the Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment of adult social care, the Youth Justice Plan, the Families First Partnership Programme, and safeguarding reports. The committee noted the good rating received from the CQC, approved the Youth Justice Plan, and discussed upcoming legislative changes related to the Families First Partnership Programme. They also reviewed and noted the Sutton Safeguarding Adults Board Annual Report 2024-2025 and the Sutton Local Safeguarding Children Partnership Annual Report 2024-25.

Housing, Economy and Business Committee - Tuesday, 25th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Housing, Economy and Business Committee of Sutton Council met on 25 November 2025, and approved a new licensing scheme for houses in multiple occupation (HMOs) and a change of tenure for a block of flats at Beech Tree Place to affordable rent. The committee also noted a bi-annual performance report and the outcome of a Regulator of Social Housing inspection.

Council - Monday, 3rd November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Council meeting scheduled for 3 November 2025 included discussion of Houses in Multiple Occupation, a motion to support diversity, and the annual report of the Audit and Governance Committee. Councillors were also expected to answer questions.

Health and Wellbeing Board - Monday, 20th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Sutton Health and Wellbeing Board met to discuss the Better Care Fund plan, the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, and the Sutton Health and Care plan. The board approved the Better Care Fund 2025-26 planning template, and noted both the BCF quarter one submission to NHS England, and the delivery updates on the Sutton Alliance for Supporting Home Programme. The board also approved and signed off the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025-28 for publication, and noted the contribution of community pharmacy to the Sutton Health and Care system.

Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.
