Audit Committee - Friday, 3 October 2025 10.00 am

The Hertfordshire County Council Audit Committee met to discuss risk management, the adult social care workforce, and internal audit services. The committee agreed to note the changes to risk metrics and the revised list of corporate risks, and also approved an in-year amendment to the internal audit plan. They also received updates on the adult social care workforce and the shared internal audit service.

Resources and Performance Cabinet Panel - Thursday, 2 October 2025 10.00 am

The Resources and Performance Cabinet Panel met to discuss the county's financial performance, approve a new corporate plan, and agree to lease arrangements for waste transfer stations. The panel recommended that the cabinet approve the capital reprogramming of £21.2 million, endorse the new corporate plan, and agree to enter into lease or licence agreements for waste transfer stations.

Public Health & Community Safety Cabinet Panel - Friday, 12 September 2025 10.00 am

The Public Health and Community Safety Cabinet Panel met to discuss the award of the contract for the provision of public health nursing services. Following a presentation and discussion of the part one report, the panel moved to a closed session to discuss the commercially sensitive part two report. Upon returning to the public session, the panel voted to recommend to the cabinet that the contract be awarded to the selected provider outlined in the part two recommendation.

Audit Committee - Friday, 25 July 2025 10.00 am

The Hertfordshire County Council Audit Committee met to discuss the draft accounts, treasury management, governance, risk, and fraud-related matters. The committee approved the Annual Governance Statement 2024/25 and Code of Corporate Governance 2025/26 and agreed to a risk focus report on the shortage of social care workforce for the next meeting. The committee also noted reports on the draft accounts and audit update, treasury management, risk management, anti-fraud measures, internal audit progress, and whistleblowing.
