Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Thursday 10 July 2025 7.00 pm

The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission met to discuss access to local GP services, a review of primary care commissioning, and the Healthwatch Hackney annual report. The members were also scheduled to discuss and agree on a work programme for the coming year.

Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission - Tuesday 24 June 2025 7.00 pm

The Health in Hackney Scrutiny Commission met to discuss quality accounts from Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and St Joseph's Hospice, adult social care inspection preparations, and substance misuse support in the borough. The commission agreed to a work programme for the coming year, and noted the results of public engagement on scrutiny topics.

Audit Committee - Wednesday 18 June 2025 6.30 pm

The Hackney Council Audit Committee convened to discuss key financial and governance matters, including the external audit plan, financial updates, and risk management strategies. The committee reviewed and approved the minutes from the previous meeting, and also noted the terms of reference for the municipal year 2025/26. The committee also reviewed the proposed work programme for the coming year.

Extra-ordinary, Scrutiny Panel - Thursday 12 June 2025 7.00 pm

The Hackney Council Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the Housing Ombudsman's Special Report on Hackney Council, which highlighted several areas of service failure, including repairs, damp and mould, and complaint handling. The panel also established a Budget Scrutiny Task and Finish Panel to review the council's budget and ensure it aligns with strategic objectives and community priorities.
