Pensions Committee - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Worcestershire Pension Committee met on 9 October 2025, and among other things, noted the Pension Fund Annual Report, and agreed to recommend that full council approve a change to the delegation of the LGPS Central Shareholder Representative. The committee also reviewed the Business Plan and Risk Register, and received updates on governance, compliance, and training.

Environment Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Friday, 3rd October, 2025 10.00 am

The Environment, Overview and Scrutiny panel met to discuss flood risk management, performance and budget monitoring, and to refresh the scrutiny work programme. The panel received the Flood Risk Management Annual Report and heard from partner organisations about their work to manage flood risk in Worcestershire. The panel also discussed performance and budget monitoring information for services relating to the environment and agreed to some amendments to the scrutiny work programme for the coming year.

Adult Care and Well Being Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Monday, 29th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Adult Care and Well Being Overview and Scrutiny Panel met to discuss mental health social care services, NHS continuing healthcare, budget monitoring and performance, and to refresh their work programme. Councillors heard that adult social care was facing financial challenges, with demand-led services increasing and putting pressure on budgets. The panel agreed to scrutinise the Integrated Care Board's (ICB) contribution to continuing healthcare and to schedule a session with partners and the community to discuss how they can support adult social care.

Audit and Governance Committee - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 2.00 pm

The Audit and Governance Committee of Worcestershire County Council was scheduled to meet on 25 September 2025 to discuss a range of topics, including the external audit of the Worcestershire Pension Fund, internal audit progress, performance and risk management, counter fraud measures, business continuity, income and debt management and treasury management. The committee was also scheduled to consider the appointment of an independent member and its future work programme.
