Planning Policy Committee - Wednesday 17th September 2025 6.00 pm
The West Northamptonshire Council Planning Policy Committee met to discuss and approve the release of the draft West Northamptonshire Infrastructure and Developer Contributions Supplementary Planning Document (WNIDCSPD) for public consultation. The committee also agreed to use the indexation arrangements outlined in the document for all section 106 agreements[^2] in the interim. Finally, they delegated authority to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor changes to the document before its release.
Adult Social Care, Health and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 2nd September 2025 6.00 pm
The Adult Social Care, Health and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met on 2 September 2025 to discuss the Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board, neighbourhood health, public health, and the committee's work programme. The committee was scheduled to receive presentations on the development and priorities of the Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board, and on the work of Integrated Care Northamptonshire to develop and deliver neighbourhood-based health and care services. Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 19th August 2025 2.00 pm
The Strategic Planning Committee convened to discuss several planning applications, approving a storage and distribution building at Zone G, DIRFT, Crick, and an industrial and commercial development at Woolgrowers Field, Land North of Greens Norton Road, Towcester, subject to conditions. A decision on a renewable biomethane gas generation facility on Land to the West of A43 Buckingham Road, Evenley, was deferred.

The West Northamptonshire Council's Planning Policy Committee convened to discuss and approve recommendations on several key planning and development issues, including the adoption of a new local validation list, responses to government consultations on biodiversity net gain and planning committee reforms, and the noting of the Housing Land Availability Report 2025 and ongoing work on the West Northamptonshire Local Plan.
